Boxes for navigation – where menus or links will be
Boxes for text – headings, paragraphs or labels
Boxes for images – placeholders to show where images will go
Links and buttons – drawn as simple boxes or icons
Structure and layout – arranged clearly to show order of content
Helps plan layout before detailed design
Quick to create and easy to edit
Focuses on structure, not colours or styles
Good for discussing early ideas with a team or client
Lacks detail like colours, fonts, and actual images
Might not show how things work (interactions, animations)
May need more explanation or notes
PowerPoint – Use shapes and boxes for layout
Balsamiq – Drag-and-drop tool for wireframes
Adobe XD – Professional tool for interface design
World's largest sports piracy site shut down by police
The world’s biggest illegal sports streaming site, Streameast, has been closed after a police raid in Egypt. The site had more than 1.6 billion visits in the last year, showing pirated football, Formula One, and baseball games.
Police arrested two men and found links to millions in advertising money. Broadcasters say piracy steals value from sports, but critics argue high subscription costs push fans towards illegal streams. Experts warn shutting sites is like a “whack-a-mole” game, as one site is closed, another one opens.
Discussion point:
Should sports be made cheaper and easier to watch legally to reduce piracy, or is shutting down illegal sites the best solution?
